The rooms are large and airy, providing a
Wonderfully spacious stay. The check-in process was seamless, and having a restaurant on-site was a convenient touch. The TV reception left something to be desired, but the friendly staff more than made up for it.

Perfect for a solo traveler
Everything felt neat and well-managed! I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the fantastic toiletries they offered. It was a quick walk to some decent restaurants nearby.
Not cheap, but still acceptable.

How the walls are made out of mud bricks. It was very nice. The opal shop in reception was good as well. The staff were so friendly. The welcome was warm and cheerful and started the experience off on a good note.
Not much to the restaurant menu.

The kids loved the clean and roomy standard family room, especially the mud brick walls. We all enjoyed a fun day exploring the Coober Pedy Golf Club, and the highlights were the warm showers after a dusty day. It was a cozy stay for our family.
For the kids, it would be great to have marked parking outside the rooms.

The Mud Hut Motel was very comfortable and very clean. A very nice unit to spend a night in as you go between Adelaide and Alice Springs. The management was clearly not promoting dining at the establishment in the evening, however we would chose to stay there again if we needed to stop over at Coober Pedy. Get in quick to have a spot for your car on the grounds as parking was a bit tight in front of units.

Free parking onsite provided. Everything very comfortable. Good location in a local area, so close to restaurants, tourist attraction's and centre of town. Besides, easy to get to Coco Key Water Resort.

The receptionist was super cute and answered all my questions. It has that authentic outback charm. It's just a short walk to the main streets and eateries. I'll definitely book here again 👍

We would have extended the stay, loved this beautifully kept hotel. It offers friendly services. The accommodation is in the center of the town. For lunch or dinner go to Opal Inn Bistro, located close to the venue.
Can’t fault the property in any way.

It was just a top selection for a weekend breather in Coober Pedy with reasonable value. The air conditioning worked perfectly during a stormy night, keeping the room comfortable. Make sure to sample the breakfast. It was quite delicious!

Very quiet, no outside noises, good night sleep.
Nothing, slight parking problem as we were in the corner

The management staff were friendly, lending me a bicycle to explore the area and driving me to the airport. The location is fantastic, just across the road from the Outback Bar & Grill for meals and conveniently next to the Visitor Information Centre. My room was spacious, cool even during the hot days, a big plus!
While overall a great experience, TV reception could use improvement.
